Sto cercando di far funzionare gnooki (un programmino che permette di far comunicare i telefonini con il pc e sincronizzarne le rispettive rubriche).
Nella documentazione (che posto qui sotto) ho letto che per utilizzare il cavo DKU2 è necessaria una patch nel kernel (fornita assieme al programma).

The DKU2 cable, supplied for example with the nokia 7600/6230, is a
straight-through lead which connects the phone to a USB port. By default,
the usb device exposes two endpoints which provide AT-like modem emulation.
This kernel module sets an alternative configuration to enable two further
endpoints which enable Fbus communication.
Patches are in gnokii/patches. There is one for 2.4.22 - I expect it'll
work with most 2.4 kernels, and one for 2.6.9.
The driver connects two ttys - after connecting the phone dmesg gives:
Nokia AT Port:
usbserial.c: Nokia 7600/6230 DKU2 driver converter now attached to ttyUSB0 (or usb/tts/0 for devfs)
Nokia FBUS Port:
usbserial.c: Nokia 7600/6230 DKU2 driver converter now attached to ttyUSB1 (or usb/tts/1 for devfs)
gnokii must be configured to use the second of these - in this case /dev/ttyUSB1
* Install *
| Get / configure / build a set of kernel sources.
$ cd $gnokii_sources/patches/kernel_2.{4,6}
| If you have the gnokii CVS version
$ autoconf
| See ./configure --help for the available options
| Defaults are:
| kernsrcdir: /lib/modules/`uname -r`/build -- directory where the sources are
| kernmoddir: /lib/modules/`uname -r` -- base module installation directory
$ ./configure --with-kernsrcdir=dir1 --with-kernmoddir=dir2
$ make
| Become root
# make install
# modprobe nokia_dku2
# dmesg
| Look for the lines as shown above!
| Edit .gnokiirc to include port=/dev/ttyUSB.. and connection=dku2

Eseguo il configure come richiesto e apparentemente non ci sono errori:
andrea[ presso ]linux:~/Installazioni/gnokii-0.6.8/patches/kernel_2.6> ./configure --with-kernsrcdir=/lib/modules/2.6.13-15-default/build --with-kernmoddir=/lib/modules/2.6.13-15-default
configure: creating ./config.status
config.status: creating Makefile
Sources located at /lib/modules/2.6.13-15-default/build will be used.
Compiled kernel module will be installed into /lib/modules/2.6.13-15-default.
Now type:
$ make
to compile the driver, and then become root and type:
# make install
to install the driver. Next step is to:
# modprobe nokia_dku2
and see the kernel logs to verify whether the driver works. If you have any problems
doing this, consult gnokii FAQ (distributed withing gnokii tarball or online at
htt*://[www].gnokii.org/faq.shtml), gnokii wiki (htt*://wiki.gnokii.org) or gnokii
users mailing list (htt*://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/gnokii-users).
Sembra tutto ok, ma quando faccio il make ottengo questo:
andrea[ presso ]linux:~/Installazioni/gnokii-0.6.8/patches/kernel_2.6> make

Qualcuno sa dirmi cosa sto sbagliando?

Nella patch c'è scritto kernel 2.6, io uso 2.6.13. Fa differenza?
Dovrei cercare una patch apposita? |

Non saprei, io so un altro modo per patchare il kernel.
Il redame che hai postato è completo o solo una parte? |

Si, il Readme è in toto.
Puoi indicarmi dove trovare le istruzioni per patchare nel modo che conosci tu?

In realtà l'errore era molto banale:
non avevo le sorgenti del kernel!!!
Adesso le ho installate, ho ancora degli errori nel make ma ci sto lavorando...
Se proprio non ci riesco da solo ti faccio sapere... Grazie ancora!!! |
